workingmom
We are driving into SF and are looking for a place to stay near the city. Don't want to pay for parking, so think that SFO-North-Oyster point is a good option for us(mom, dad and 2 kids). Can you help to identify a 4* hotel in that area for $82/nt. for 3 nights in July? THANKS! Link to comment

sfntvintx
It sounds to me like Hotwire upgraded the Embassy Suites South San Francisco to 4 stars. I put in my dates and a hotel with those icons came up and the Trip Advisor is a match for Embassy Suites-SSF. A few weeks ago it was coming up 3.5 stars. Link to comment
workingmom
Dates I'm looking for are July 4-7, 2009 Link to comment
Colfax
I agree with sfntvintx. This looks like the Embassy Suites, upgraded from 3.5* to 4*. Please use this HOTWIRE link if you purchase. Link to comment
Gallus50
With all the value added (breakfast, manager's reception, pool, kitchenette, etc), that's a great deal for the Embassy Suites. If it's still around, I'd take it. Link to comment
workingmom
Embassy Suites it was! Great! Thanks for the help - looking forward to getting out of town with the family. And the free breakfast is even better! Link to comment
sfntvintx
I believe Embassy Suites does charge for parking, but it's nothing compared to downtown. Maybe $10 to $15. And there may be other street parking options, but I'm not sure. I'll be in SF those same dates and had been eyeing the Embassy Suites a few weeks back, but decided to stay downtown. (And still wondering where I'm going to ditch the car.) Hope you have a great time. Link to comment
workingmom
I wondered about parking costs. I suppose I can cope with $10 or $15/day. Much easier than coping with $50/day to park in downtown. One caveat I noticed though: I thought I was bidding on SFO airport NORTH. I believe Embassy Suites is in SFO airport SOUTH. The price changed from $82/night when I checked over the weekend, to $86/nt today. But, I took it anyway. Still satisfied.PS...I did use the HOTWIRE link from this site to purchase (as suggested).THANKS again. Link to comment

Colfax
One caveat I noticed though: I thought I was bidding on SFO airport NORTH. I believe Embassy Suites is in SFO airport SOUTH.There are two different Embassy Suite hotels near SFO. You purchased the one in Hotwire's Airport North zone. There's another one in Airport South.
