Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Toronto (Downtown) Delta Chelsea

I have been a happy Priceline customer for over 6 years now.

I am taking a trip to Toronto next week and requested a 4Star hotel

room for one night. I bid $82 and it came back a winning bid but

clearly listed the winning hotel as a 3.5 STAR hotel. The hotel had

mixed reviews on several sites. It even looks like a hotel that was once

a 4Star but has been downgraded on several sites.

I called Priceline and told them that I check 4Star and 4Star only. The customer

service was NO help. Any suggestions?

Delta Chelsea bid won at $80 but I only checked off 4Star.

The bid came back as a winner and clearly stated that I won

3.5Star hotel.

I called Priceline but the lady in customer service was NO help

and only offered to let me pay $80 to cancel.

I have used Priceline for more than 7 years and have never

had any issue but this one bites!

Thanks for the follow-up. Sorry to hear that PRICELINE wasn't of any help - I've never heard of this occurring, but if you checked 4* only, then I'd try again with PRICELINE CS and see if you can get a hold of someone else.

Call PRICELINE again (or email) and explain that you only selected the 4* option... they will either confirm that to the be the case OR they will send you a screenshot showing both 3.5* and 4* selected.
