Hotwire Hotel: 4.5* San Diego (Gaslamp Quarter-Convention Center) US Grant

I am looking at a trip to SD July 12-18.

Either Downtown (but *NOT* Harbor Island--too far from where I will be working, as I won't have a car, thus I would prefer to avoid Priceline (although the recent Westgate win at $70 would be perfect for me)) or Gaslamp District would be fine.

Here's what I'm seeing:

4.5-star hotel in Gaslamp Quarter - Convention Center for $155

Smoke Free, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, hi-speed Internet.

This is (gathered from another hotwire thread) apparently the US Grant (no pool thus not Hotel Se)

4-star hotel in Gaslamp Quarter - Convention Center for $129

Amenities as above, except with a pool.

Any ideas as to the identity of the 4-star?

The 4.5* would be a match for the US Grant, while the 4* would *appear* to be a match for the Hilton Bayfront.

I went with the 4.5*, b/c I didn't want to run the risk that the 4* was the Bayfront (not a good location for me) as opposed to the Westin Gaslamp (which would have been fine).

The hotel was, in fact, the US Grant, which I got at $149 (price dropped since I originally posted).

And yes, I used the site's HOTWIRE link to make the reservation.
