Tried to get the 5* Hilton in Berlin East for the weekend of 8/21-8/24:

1. Bid $66 --> Rejected

2. Closed Browser

3. Bid $77 --> Rejected

Trying to get a nice, central hotel while keeping the total for under $100/night with taxes and fees. Any advice?

I just looked again and with taxes and fees that leaves my max bid at $82. Doesn't leave much room to go up.

4. Added Tiergarten - Kufuerstendamm 5* (8/21 - 8/24)

Since you added the Tiergarten - Kufuerstendamm zone which does have 5* hotels, is this an acceptable zone as well?

Is your objective a 5* hotel in either the East zone or the Tiergarten/Kufuerstendamm zone for under $82... or should Tiergarten/Kufuerstendamm only really be considered if you first fail in the East zone?

Just got the 5* Berlin Hilton (East) for $90 + tax = $114. On the first try. The rack rates are $230 so this is really a bargain! Good luck.
