  1. Is that for the same weekend?
  2. Sorry about that! I will definitely use it next time. Thanks for running this great forum!
  3. I was nearly convinced it was this hotel: Derag Hotel Henriette It matched in amenities, location, Tripadvisor Rating and # of Tripadvisor reviews (62). I ended up booking it on Hotels.com anyway because the total cost was similar. Good to know for future reference though.
  4. Does anyone have any guesses as to the identity of this hotel? City: Berlin, Germany Area: Mitte - Kreuzberg Here are the details: Rate: $77 / room / night August 21st - August 24th 2009 Amenities: Complimentary Breakfast Restaurant(s) Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access TripAdvisor Ratings: 4 out of 5 Based on 60+ customer reviews (Last reviewed June 2009) The Mitte - Kreuzberg area is very large and I don't want to be stuck somewhere inconvenient. Thanks!
  5. I just looked again and with taxes and fees that leaves my max bid at $82. Doesn't leave much room to go up.
  6. ...... 4. Added Tiergarten - Kufuerstendamm 5* (8/21 - 8/24) 5. Bid $76 --> REJECTED
  7. Tried to get the 5* Hilton in Berlin East for the weekend of 8/21-8/24: 1. Bid $66 --> Rejected 2. Closed Browser 3. Bid $77 --> Rejected Trying to get a nice, central hotel while keeping the total for under $100/night with taxes and fees. Any advice? Used your PRICELINE link for both bids!
  8. You may have already booked something but I guess I will leave this as a general comment about Brooklyn....... The 3 hotels in Brooklyn I would shoot for on the list would be in this order: Brooklyn Bridge Marriott - Right in the middle of Brooklyn's Downtown and very convenient to Manhattan. Park Slope Holiday Inn Express - Not technically in Park Slope but right next a subway line which will take you into Manhattan and down Broadway (The R Train). Brooklyn's Park Slope is just up the hill and there are some great stores and restaurants on 5th Avenue Comfort Inn Brooklyn Bridge - Convenient to Brooklyn's Atlantic Center which is the transportation hub of the borough. The immediate area is a little sketchy and is nowhere near the Brooklyn Bridge.
  9. Bid $60 per night for 10/6 - 10/8 on a 3.5* hotel in the Syracuse University area and got the Renaissance Syracuse Downtown Hotel
  10. The Renaissance seems to be the 3.5* hotel. I recently won on a hotel bid of $60 for 10/6-10/8
  11. Bid $100 a night for a 4* hotel in "Downtown And University Park" and got: Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City, A Kimpton Hotel 15 West 200 South Salt Lake, Utah 84101 877-294-9710
