cchiow Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Not sure if I overpaid, but I cdn't find anything cheaper. I didn't know about the 4* problem with priceline at first, and won a bid for $90 at the Westin. I called up to PL to complain and they let me cancel but charged me one night's stay. They would only refund me the money minus $25 fee if I rebooked through PRICELINE so I had to place bids instead of going on HOTWIRE. Hoping the Trump is worth the money. I am bringing my mom and we hadn't been to vegas in years. We don't gamble so no casino, no problem....
thereuare Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!Thank you for sharing your results with the board. The Trump is affected by one of the same issues as the Westin, and that is the off-strip location. With this noted, i suspect you'll enjoy your stay at the Trump better than if you remained at the Westin, as the reviews of the property itself (excluding the off-strip location and $15 resort fee) have been quite favorable... it's just that most go to Vegas to gamble and this property lacks the casino which most are seeking. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay. cbob8 Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 I got the Trump through PRICELINE and stayed in early June.... It was a 4 min walk from the Wynn and another 5 min to 5-6 other casinos. I REALLY liked the hotel a lot.... nice and quiet. I had not problem with the walk. Will try to stay there again. Great bargain. I think you'll like it.
