harrism Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Got the Starhotels Metropole near train station for two nights on 10/18 for $180. Other sites have it listed at 3.5 stars.
thereuare Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Thanks for sharing your win with the rest of the board. Can you please clarify which Priceline zone within Rome this hotel resides.Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
harrism Posted October 16, 2004 Author Report Posted October 16, 2004 The hotel is in Rome Central. We just cancelled our trip to Italyas we got word we must fly to Tulsa to adopt a baby next week. Next time I'll buy trip cancellation insurance. I just figured I wouldn't get such news a few days before we left so it was safe to book.
thereuare Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Thanks for the follow-up.Sorry to hear you have to cancel your trip, but i'm sure you would take this good news over a trip anyday! Congratulations on the addition to your family. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
WillTravel Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Congratulations also!I'm doubtful trip insurance would cover this contingency, but maybe there's some policy that has this included. I think you have a shot at getting Priceline to cancel. I may be wrong, but people seem to have had the best results with this when they have telephoned, rather than emailed.
