Trying to wrap up daughter's two month European stay.

Hotwire 3.5* Amenities: Restaurant

Price is $73 for dates of July 18 - 21, for three person occupancy.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

How do European hotels match up in regard to a 3.5* rating?

If I go ahead with this booking, I'll certainly do it through this site, and also post my findings.

I think the general concensus is that you can deduct a half a star from European star ratings to equate to their US counterparts. I would expect a 3.5* european hotel to be clean and 'full service', but may be lacking a few amenities or 'luxuries' (like high thread count sheets, towels to be 'basic', etc)

The hotel is Holiday Inn Milan Assago.

Changed up the dates to July 18 - 20 (two nights) still for 3 people. Today they were offering the hotel for $59 a night. Two nights total with charges $138.

Just going to hop on their website now.

Same hotel which had the same amenities advertised (Restaurant) price of $62 for Friday, July 17th. $75 with the added tax/service fees added on.

I know it's long after the fact, but thought I'd add a side note about this hotel. Apparently shuttle access offered by this hotel is horrible. Times were random and then not reliable. It's not close to anything, so the shuttle service is necessary. The only positive for the girls was the pool.
