GM Mike
There are three primary types of rooms in the hotel:"Superior" Tower Rooms are in the main high-rise building"Deluxe" Garden Rooms are in several low-rise buildings in the same complex"Standard" Courtside Rooms are motel-style outside entrance rooms around the perimeter of the complexWinning priceline bids can be assigned to any of those types. We went on a very quiet day and were automatically assigned to the tower but another guest (longer stay?) was assigned to the garden and was not allowed to change. The tower rooms are as pictured on their website; "antique" furnishings but clean and the room was very large. Basically a junior suite with a two-room bathroom.Location is great - walk to downtown restaurants, bars, movie theatre (Brewvies).Self-park was free and the drive to the airport on a Tuesday morning was quick (maybe 20 minutes?)... not a bad choice to stay here rather than by the airport. Romelle
I stayed at Little America, along with two 10-year-old grandsons, Aug 14-17, 2009. We got a "Standard" Courtside Room. It was very attractively furnished, clean and everything functioned. My grandsons liked the wide choice of TV stations. We got a room with two beds. Beds were comfortable. Nice linen. Being able to park right outside the room was very convenient. The free little train that can be used to move about town has a stop just a block away. Very handy, and the boys loved it. We rode it several times just for fun, although downtown is an easy walk. No mention of Priceline when I checked in or out, just a comment that everything was prepaid. Don't miss the wonderful gardens and water features in Temple Square. A great Priceline deal!Romelle Link to comment
