Hotwire Hotel: Help for Holiday Inn Express

Hi This is my first post here so glad I ran across this forum.

I would like to book the Holiday Inn express on Fishermans Wharf

I am traveling on Sept 6th until Sept 12th.

I went to HOTWIRE and put in the dates and they had a 2.5 star rated hotel for $106

comp breakfast,fitness, business, high speed internet

Is this the holiday inn express and how can I get a better price on this maybe on PRICELINE.

Also they have two 3.5 hotels one has fitness, pool, resturant, business and internet for $89.00

the other has fitness, resturant, business and internet for 79.00 hotels listed hilton, millennium, crowne

Do you know what these hotel are and are these a better bet than the holiday inn express

You didn't say how many adults/children you were searching on. I searched on 2 adults/0 children. If you're searching some other combination let us know. I found three hotels with icons matching yours but all prices have gone up since you posted yesterday.

2.5* Fisherman's Wharf, now $118. Appears to be Holiday Inn Express FW.

3.5* Fisherman's Wharf, now $122. Appears to be Sheraton FW.

3.5* USE, now $119. Appears to be Sir Francis Drake.

(You didn't say which zones the 3.5* hotels were in but FW and USE are where I found 3.5* hotels with icons matching what you posted.)

Holiday Inn Express regular rate is $161.77 for your dates, so $118 isn't the best discount we've seen there. Noone can predict whether prices will go up or down between now and September.
