AMK Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 After reading your board I decided to try PRICELINE for the first time and was able to get The Boston Sheraton at $99/night for June 16-17! My first bid was accepted so I wonder if I should've started even less! $99 + $20.73 (taxes/service fees) = $119.73. Their cheapest rate anywhere was $169 using a travelzoo.com discount, and the next cheapest was $239! We've stayed at this property before and we loved it (attached to the Prudential in Back Bay, indoor T-stop in the Pruduntial plus numerous eateries including the Cheesecake Factory and PF Changs next door). The parking is high ($35ish/night) but that's true in most of Boston. The low hotel rate definitely helps balance that out! Thank you for this board. I was able to narrow down the possibilities and was confident that I would receive a great property.
