I know you commented in the other thread this is the most you've paid for a PRICELINE hotel, but something i learned recently is that Santa Barbara is EXPENSIVE (and i bet more so recently with the fires they had there not too long ago, some displaced homeowners may be staying at local hotels)

This is a very useful post. Now we know it's possible to Priceline a Saturday night in Santa Barbara in summer. And apparently there's no two-night minimum stay on weekends (which is sometimes the case in resort areas).

Since you hadn't attempted $105 earlier it's hard to know if you were bidding too low before, or just too early.
