Wondering if you can help a newbie to Priceline. We want our family to stay in the SF SOMA district, but I don't know which hotel I may get. How can I find out my possibilities?

You mentioned "family". PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, which could be a room with one bed. If you require two beds HOTWIRE might be the better option.

Also is there a reason why you want the SOMA-Moscone zone, or are other areas of Downtown like USE and USW also acceptable?
