shurton Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 Is it pretty safe to assume that the 4.5* in San Fran Union Square East coming up on HOTWIRE for $136 (sep4-7) is the Intercontinental? or are there other possibilities?
magnus1017 Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 Is it pretty safe to assume that the 4.5* in San Fran Union Square East coming up on HOTWIRE for $136 (sep4-7) is the Intercontinental? or are there other possibilities?Your assumption is correct. The 4.5 star in USE is the Intercontinental. I booked a room on 5/21.
Colfax Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 At last report the Intercontinental was the only 4.5* in USE, but Hotwire hotel ratings change all the time. The Palace and Palomar in USE have come up as 4.5* in the past and it's not unsual for a hotel to flipflop back and forth between 4.5* and 4* rating several times.magnus1017 is probably correct that you're seeing the Intercontinental but for a stronger level of confirmation you should also post the icons that you see on your search and someone will take a look at it---verifying whether the icons and TripAdvisor stats match the Intercontinental. Please use this HOTWIRE link if you purchase.
