4 star $96 non smoking, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center and internet

3.5 star $86 non smoking, fitness center, restaurant, internet

3 star $68 fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, internet

The 3 star does not state non smoking - isn't it assumed that all hotels have non smoking sections?

You can see the hotels that have been reported to the board thru PRICELINE in the PRICELINE HOTEL LIST... but the list should never be considered complete and there could be other properties not yet reported to the board.

If you need help with a strategy let us know what star rating you would like to try for your and your maximum bid.

PLEASE remember to use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

I see that on Hotwire a 4 star hotel in Baltimore's Inner Harbor/Downtown for 6/27 is now at $93. Priceline says that the best deal is with 4 stars.

What should I start my bidding? Is $60 too low? Woud not go above $90.

I've run into this before and don't know how to proceed.

Today I bid $47 on a 3 star hotel in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Along with the rejection, I was told that I could rebid NOW if I inceased my bid by $13.

Am I guaranteed getting the room if I increase my bid by $13 - when I tried to rebid by $8, I was told that the new amount had to be $13 more than my original bid.

Please advise.

increasing the bid by the suggested amount will work just about all of the time, you can also undercut the counteroffer by waiting 24 hours or using a rebid zone. To use a rebid zone, you will need to close out your browser and then re-access PRICELINE (hopefully using the links on the board). Hopefully you are familiar with Priceline Rebidding Explained

Thanks to all for your suggestions! Just won a 3 star for this night for $50. Someone said that this is a 3.5 star hotel. Hotwire has the rate between $82 and $86.

Sorry I forgot to use the PRICELINE to bid.

Can you identify the following hotels?

4 star $93

3 star 65

3.5 star 82

Thank you.

Thru Priceline, my bid of $50 was accepted for a 3 star hotel for this date. The hotel is the Raddison Lord Baltimore. On Travelzoo20, they have a special offer for $99 and the rate on Hotwire is $88 - they say it is a 3.5 star hotel.
