I tried the same bid on priceline.com for a 3.5 star for the week of 6/17-6/18 and was turned down. We really wanted to stay in the Anchorage Sheraton :)

Last week I won the Sheraton on Priceline for $55 for May dates. Sheraton's regular rate was $189 those days. For your June dates the Sheraton's best rate is $239.

The Sheraton's been reported as a 3.5* on Hotwire. For June 17-19 Hotwire doesn't have any 3.5* listing. It may be that the Sheraton hasn't given Priceline inventory for your dates, or hasn't given inventory yet.

Hotwire has a 4* for $186 or a 3* for $169. Your bid of $65 seems low then. If you could win these dates at $100 I'd say you did well.
