lsutigers09 Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 I'm curious to know if anyone can give a thought to the following:PHL - Airport/Stadium 3*6/2/09-6/3/09Amenities: Fitness, RestaurantNo Trip AdvisorTo me, this smells like the Holiday Inn Stadium. Am I correct in this assumption? Also, if anyone has any general suggestions for an airport hotel, I'd be grateful. Found some great deals in Mt. Laurel, but is that too far??Thanks in advance!
dahammer Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 Welcome! The Airport Holiday Inn has been reported with a "shuttle" amenity in addition to those you mentioned. If you want to stay at the airport, I would avoid Mt. Laurel as it could take 30 minutes to drive there. Please use this HOTWIRE link if you proceed.
lsutigers09 Posted May 25, 2009 Author Report Posted May 25, 2009 Thanks, hammer.Yeah, I looked at the pinned Hotwire list, and noticed what you mentioned. Just curious to know if there were any other inclinations. I suppose we'll just see what happens...
thereuare Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 If you change your search criteria to 4adults/0children a 'different' 3* hotel appears in this zone for the same $57/nite rate (the price i'm also seeing when searching for double occupancy) with:Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, LaundryWhile this property has not yet been identified, searching for 4adults also shows a Tripadvisor rating of 2.5/5.0 with 60+ reviews which is consistent with the Holiday Inn Stadium, so that would be my best guess. While we can't say for certain if this is the same hotel as you're seeing above when searching for 2adults/0children, given the same price point, i would sepculate that it very well may be, so note that the Tripadvisor rating isn't really that positive should you decide to move forward with either selection. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. lsutigers09 Posted May 25, 2009 Author Report Posted May 25, 2009 Thanks for taking the time to help me out. I had a feeling that would be the case. Also, thanks for mentioning the strategy of adding guests.I'll definitely use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin all purchases, as always.
