The Si Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 I am attending a conference at the Hilton San Francisco from 8/13/09 - 8/16/09. I need to book a room for those days, and it must be at the Hilton San Francisco. What is the probability of getting the Hilton San Francisco if I choose 4* in the USW area?
AaronJB Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Welcome to the site. If you must stay at a specific hotel, PRICELINE is not a good idea, as there's a definite chance you could wind up at a different hotel. HOTWIRE is a better choice, but that's not 100% guaranteed, either. In terms of booking regular rate, Orbitz.com has this deal:"**Orbitz SPECIAL OFFER**Through 5/31, book any hotel in San Francisco and receive a FREE $50 gift certificate from Restaurant.com (Select a hotel and add FREE offer on the add Attractions & Services page).See area descriptions"Please use the site's Orbitz.com link if you decide to go this route.
The Si Posted October 15, 2009 Author Report Posted October 15, 2009 Before I could suggest the Orbitz deal, my manager went ahead and booked the room straight through Hilton.Thank you for your help.
