GM Mike Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 Previous bid was $50, which agrees with what other folks have found. This was our target hotel, though I did not realize they have motel style outside entrance rooms. Hopefully occupancy will be low and we can request to move into something nicer.Little America Salt Lake City Downtown And University Park500 South Main Street Salt Lake City, Utah 84101 801-596-5700Check-In Date: Mon, May 25, 2009 / After 03:00 PMCheck-Out Date: Tue, May 26, 2009 / 11:00 AM (This is the night of Memorial Day.)Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $51.00 Subtotal: $51.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $14.16 Total Charges*: $65.16 Best rate on their website was $109.99, savings of about 54%.Used the board's PRICELINE link.

GM Mike Posted June 8, 2009 Author Report Posted June 8, 2009 Posted a review: UT Salt Lake City Little AmericaWe got a tower room (more like a junior suite) without asking, probably because occupancy was very low. There was another guest checking in who was assigned a garden room and was not allowed to change... maybe he had a longer stay?It worked out just fine for us.
nic01002 Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 From what I have seen Priceline always gets you a tower room. Little America has several room types and they are usually pretty good at upgrading for a price. If you book online at thier site the cheap room is usually the garden rooms and then to get a tower you have to pay the upgrade price. I have stayed here several times on Priceline and always received a tower, even when it has looked rather busy. To bad they are remodeling the ballrooms, the Sunday brunch is always great
