gintastic
??? the conclusion was that it was ID'd but it wasn't the hotel I wanted, so I opt'd out.and regarding the MCO one.. that was already concluded. I booked it and thereuare already said thanks. maybe i'm misunderstanding the rules of this forum (sorry if i am..). am i supposed to write back after my vacation and write what I thought about the hotel? Is so, I apologize for not doing so. Link to comment
dahammer
and regarding the MCO one.. that was already concluded. I booked it and thereuare already said thanks. maybe i'm misunderstanding the rules of this forum (sorry if i am..). am i supposed to write back after my vacation and write what I thought about the hotel? Is so, I apologize for not doing so.writing a review is not necessary, and there are few "rules" here. If you start a topic, you should conclude it by letting us know what you ended up with, preferrably at the time you make your successful PRICELINE bid or HOTWIRE purchase; before your vacation.By the way, there were 2340 "views" of your Atlantic City thread and 242 "views" of your MCO thread, so your topics generated a lot of interest from board members researching their trips.thereuare took the time to help identify the MCO hotel, but anyone reading that topic wouldn't know that you went ahead and booked it. Your follow up also confirms the amenities which keeps this board up to date since hotel amenities can and do change over time. Finally, the title of your post is updated and your booking will appear on the Calendar of Wins which in turn could help others looking for similar accomodations. Using the Support /Travel Links is a way to say "thanks" for rendering help, doesn't cost you a dime, and keeps this board going. Can you please go back and update those two topics? Link to comment
gintastic
Hi dahammer,I was mistaken. I had 2 queries for MCO. One was for July 4th weekend in 2008 (which I ended up booking with the HOTWIRE link provided in this forum). Which in turn I concluded that post with what was given to me and was in turn added to the calendar. My 2nd MCO query was a query which in the end did not happen (Work interferred with my dates then) so the reason why I didn't post back was because I never booked anything (which I thougth would've been the assumption since I didn't post back was because I didn't book).. Sorry for assuming..Although, I've always posted back with the results via Hotwire after I booked I didn't know it was going to get this complicated.. :) Sorry, I try to follow up as best as I could (you can obviously check my history) but if i have a lot of queries I can get a little side tracked.. apologies...I guess this post can get modified/deleted just in case I forget or do not book due to the change of plans in my vacation schedule... sorry! :) I'll just look at the calendars and just read the existing entries from here on... thereuare
Not really sure why this got so complicated...Please follow-up this Hotwire Atlantic City and this Hotwire Orlando thread with whatever you ended up doing for each stay. If you click each of these previous links you'll see that there is no information as to what you ultimately did for either trip, leaving future readers of each of these threads wondering how the story ends (did you win a hotel and forget to report back, cancel the trip, give up trying, etc, etc ??)If you cancelled these trips, then simply add a reply stating such so that the thread has a 'conclusion'... this helps keep the board neat and orderly, and is a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help you with that stay. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
