Priceline Hotel: Resort Oahu (Waikiki Beach) Sheraton Waikiki

I used your link to make a PRICELINE Bid for a resort in Oahu. We wanted to stay on Waikiki Beach. Started bid at $90 - got rejected, added additional zones (without resorts) in $10 increments, got accepted at $120 at the Sheraton Waikiki for 5/15-5/21.

We're happy about the deal as the lowest rate I can find is $170/night with AAA discount. And we're excited to be staying on the beach!

Thanks for the advice on this board - I will definitely be coming here again for future travel plans.

PS: does anyone know if the $20 trick really work (from personal experience)?

Can you tell me which areas (PRICELINE) do not have resorts? I am tryinng to get a resort in Waikiki Beach area

I can't remember exactly, but on the rebid page (assuming you don't get it the first time) where you choose your locations, there is a little icon next to the areas that have resorts. So since I only wanted to stay in the Waikiki Beach area in a resort, I checked a zone which didn't have resorts. I believe if you do a search, there are other posts that have the zones listed. HTH!
