April520
We will be going to San Diego and possibly want to stay on Coronado Island. On the Priceline California Hotel List, only two 4 star hotels are listed there, but when I went on Priceline, there are options for 3.5 and 3 star. Does anyone have any idea what hotels I might get assigned? And a general price range for a win? Thanks! April Link to comment
Colfax
Noone has ever reported winning a 3.5* or 3* on Coronado. Sometimes PRICELINE offers bidding options when they don't have any participating hotels at that level. So there may not be any participating 3.5* or 3* on Coronado. What dates are you looking at? Is HOTWIRE offering anything besides 4* on Coronado for those dates?Since Coronado 4* generally go in the $100-150 range I think around $75-100 would be a realistic range for less than 4*, if any exist. If you try any PRICELINE bidding please let us know how it goes. BeritOlam
There aren't many hotels on the Island to begin with....My "guess" would be:Glorietta Bay Inn for 3.5 starsEl Cordova Hotel for 3.0 starsOther possibilites:Best Western Suites Hotel (probably more like a 2.5....but maybe a 3) -- it looks decent from the street.I really don't see how it could be anything else.
