ALB Posted April 12, 2009 Author Report Posted April 12, 2009 please keep all requests for the same dates of travel in the same thread.what exactly are you looking for in this stay?I'm just trying to find a good deal on a 3* to 4* hotel in the Times Square or MTC area. I'm new to the forum, so I'm learning how to use it. I'll keep my posts in one. I've got about 4 hotels i'm looking to possibly book from hotwire and I'm just trying to get some hotel ID's in order to help us make a decision on which to book. Some have been identified, here's my list:1)Times Square - Theatre District3.5*GymRestaurantBusiness CentreInternet Access$1344 out of 5 on Tripadvisor, 600+ reviewsHotel id - The Time (looks like)2)MTC4*GymRestaurantBusiness CentreInternet Access$1544 out of 5 tripadvisor, 340+ reviewsHotel id?3)MTC Smoke Free RoomsGymRestaurantBusiness CentreInternet AccessNo tripadvisor ratings

Thanks. Thanks Aaron. I had seen the previously reported "sheraton" but when I researched the sheraton two hotels came up the Sheraton Manhattan and the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers. I was trying to determine which Sheraton it is, since it seemed the Manhattan one is in Times Square and the listing I was getting was for MTC. Now that I've looked at the map the both look very close to each other in MTC area... Thanks again for your help.
AaronJB Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 Sheraton Manhattan, not Sheraton NY/Towers.There is a list of reported HOTWIRE hotels for NY at this page: http://www.betterbidding.com/show.php/showtopic/88
ALB Posted April 20, 2009 Author Report Posted April 20, 2009 Hi Folks, here's my posting about the trip I just bid for and won on Priceline. I used the PRICELINE link from this site and I've been here researching for weeks. It took some time to get my traveling partner to make a reservation and I'm concerned about the hotel we won.bidding History$100 for 4* MTW$110 for 4* Times Square and MTW$115 for 3.5* Times Square and MTW$120 for 3/5* times Square, MTW, and Park SouthWon last bid at the Hudson Original. I'm concerned b/c I'm traveling with a co-worker and it looks like the rooms are really small. Trip Advisor reviews are not very good... If any one has an suggestions, I would so appreciate it.
thereuare Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 The hotel itself is fine, but the rooms are notoriously small... not sure what you can do about it now, but perhaps see if you can get an upgrade (or be willing to pay for one at check-in) to a larger room. Prepare your co-worker that you may (likely) be sharing a bed. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay.
