paintergirl Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 I am new here and used this site to help me find information on hotels on priceline. So, I thought it important to post my own winnings! I didn't see this hotel on the list that you have on here. So, this should be a good one to add. AaronJB Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 Congrats on your success and welcome to the site.Thank you for posting your win - always neat to get a new property, and kind of wild to see an AT & T hotel.. :)Please use the site's HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links to start future purchases. If you need help for the night of the 25th, we would be happy to help, but please start a new thread.Enjoy your stay.
e_t Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 FYI, this hotel is not exactly downtown. But it is located right in Univ. of Texas campus. Downtown is about 2 miles south. Hope this helps.
wooderson Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 FYI, this hotel is not exactly downtown. But it is located right in Univ. of Texas campus. Downtown is about 2 miles south. While I agree that this hotel is not quite downtown, it certainly isn't two miles away. The AT&T is a wonderful hotel right on The University of Texas campus. It's South border runs along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. (aka 19th St.). The State Capitol's North border runs along 15th St., only four blocks from the hotel. The Capitol, spanning four blocks down to 11th St., is essentially the North end of the entertainment section of downtown. On a nice Fall day, you could walk from campus to downtown. According to google, it is less than a mile, even down to 6th St.. The 'Dillo is a very nice option to get there, too.
slruud Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 The Dillo will cease operations in early October.
AaronJB Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Thanks for the additional information.
