Well, I was trying to get the Residence Inn like Colfax got. I know, Park Plaza is a great hotel, however, I have been staying at the same few hotels for 3 years now. A change is nice.

I also lost out on 6 bucks for the try. It may not sound like much, however, I bought 6 Corona's in Mexicao 2 weeks ago for 6 bucks. Now you feel my pain!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I usede PRICELINE link as usual.

Sorry you didn't get the ResInn, beckes. I have no issue with Park Plaza but a change is nice too. I never won the Park Plaza until a few months ago. Since then I've won it three times in a row.

Over the years I've stayed at nine different hotels in the MSP-MOA zone on Priceline. I like some better than others---to be expected---but there's really not a one that makes me go "UGH". At $35-40/night I'm happy with any of them. The Holiday Inn on 94th gets more complaints than the rest but it's rated 2.5* now, so easy to avoid by bidding 3*. That HI is being renovated now. I wonder if it will go back to 3* when the renovations are done.

How did you like the Sofitel? That's one I haven't tried.
