Bruucebuff
Coming to NYC 9/11 staying one night to see a band playing on Attorney St. I dont need luxury..perhaps 2*(basic need is a shower and bed). What can I get away with for a beginning bid? I see lots of 4* bids but I'd like something more economical. ( I got something last fall for 75.00)Thanks for any help :) Link to comment
thereuare
In NYC rates don't drop too quickly for lower star ratings (yes, they're lower, but not as low as in other cities).Few questions:-where are you coming in from?-are you driving?-is staying outside of NYC a possibility? Also, in a new thread please post your win from last year... it could help the board and will also give us a better feel for "i got something last fall for $75" as we currently dont' know if this was a decent 3* property or a 1* dump). Bruucebuff
Ok..coming from Boston, not driving. What part of town would Attorney street be? Upper east side? I have no clue...not wanting to stay outside the city.OK..will do from last year. It was courtyard by Marriot...but we were upgraded to the other Marriot. As far as which one...if there are multiples? I really dont remember.. Link to comment
thereuare
MAP OF ATTORNEY STREET.Do you want to start in the downtown zones and work your way upwards? What is the most you want to bid before lowering your star level in each zone? Are there any zones that are not acceptable to you?Just as a warning, i have a suspicion that this may very well take more than $100+. dahammer
you might want to check out the Holiday Inn, it is on Lafayette Street, it looks like a nice walk to Attorney St. Link to comment
