I am new to Hotwire.com and betterbidding.com and am testing out what I am reading.

I just checked Hotwire and used the same dates, June 24 checkin and June 26 checkout, with 2 adults and 2 children. The results for a 4* with amenities Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet Access and with a TripAdvisor rating of 3.5 out of 5 based on 280+ customer reviews indicates that it is the Westin (I did not purchase, but just used this info); however todays price was $95 night or $223.36 total.

Are there any indicators to let one know when the price will go up or down?

Occasionally there will be no TripAdvisor data under the hotel. How does one use no info?

Nobody knows if rates will go up or down but $95 is a good rate for a 4* with two beds guaranteed during summer.

Yesterday another bidder paid $126 on Hotwire for two beds at the Sheraton for other June dates. (And that was a good deal too.)
