davdaven Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Bid $86 for and won a 5-star hotel in Brisbane. Had previously tried $70 and $80 for 5-star hotels over the last 2 days, as well as $75 and $80 for 4-star hotels. Taxes and fees bring total to just under $100 per night on a Friday and Saturday night in early May.

jhaberzetle Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 My wife and I stayed at the Brisbane Marriott about a year ago on our honeymoon. It is a fabulous hotel - the best in Brisbane, IMHO. You will love it! We also got it on Priceline. When you check in, ask for a room on the side of the hotel overlooking the Story Bridge - it is an amazing view.
