Dalm0m Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 Has anybody ever used PRICELINE or HOTWIRE for an in season hotel at the shore? Which ones? TIA :)
dahammer Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 welcome!since the purpose of PRICELINE is to sell off room inventory that might otherwise go vacant, bidding for a hotel "down the shore" in season is going to be difficult. Spring Lake is not located in a biding zone but it is right between the Tinton Falls and Toms River bidding areas. I have stayed at a Extended Stay America in Red Bank through PRICELINE and even though this is one of my least favorite "chains", I would stay here again because of location and the hotel was recently renovated. PRICELINE only guarantees accomodations for 2 and the rooms at ESA typically have one queen bed, so I'm not sure if you'll be travelling with children or how many are in your party. You may want to search the board using "Tinton Falls" as the search term to see any bidding history for this area. good luck!
