808travelinthru Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 Ok, so I am planning on going to Seattle the ending of June. The last time I purchased my hotel (thru HOTWIRE) 3 mo in advance, being off-season got an AWESOME deal. Now that summer months are PEAK times for Seattle, when would be the right time to purchase? I found something in queen anne that i believe to be the Inn at Queen Anne for 75/anight. I want to be in downtown-pike place but everything is about 110/night. I'm planning on a 4night stay. Should I wait another month or just book it?? I know that that wknd is the wknd of Pride which I've been told is super busy?

Colfax Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Thanks for updating your Hawaii thread, 808travelinthru.Now that summer months are PEAK times for Seattle, when would be the right time to purchase? There's no right time to purchase. If your travel dates are firm---Pricelline and HOTWIRE reservations are nonchageable and nonrefundable---it's not too soon to purchase summer dates now. What are your exact travel dates? Do you see anything on HOTWIRE for those dates within your budget? If so post the icons and someone will try to ID.How many in your party? Is a room with one bed acceptable, so that PRICELINE would be an option?
