Hotwire Hotel: 4* San Francisco (USE) Westin Market Street

Hello again!

My brother and his fiance are flying in to have us shoot their engagement portrait and we want to find a great hotel experience for them. Nob Hill is ideal as we do part of our portraits at the Lyon Street steps. However almost anywhere would be a thrill for them.

I would love to put them in the Huntington and am hoping the hotel I see for $116 is that hotel.

I also would take input as to why another place could be just as fabulous that is not in Nob Hill. 4 star or above- Up to $125 a night.

I don't wish to make more work for you kind better bidding folks but I was actually hoping to indentify the hotels that show up in general- at least the ones near Union Square, Nob Hill, EMbarcadero - because I am really wanting to find a great hotel for them.

The amenities above match previous reports for the Huntington so that would be our best guess... but i don't see this property appear at the moment on my own HOTWIRE search for your dates.

I'm not sure what you're asking here, but you should first compare what is offered on HOTWIRE to the Hotwire Hotel List to see if you can identify them yourself and we can then confirm what you believe you're being offered.

I will look at the hotel list.

Their dates have now changed to 3/27-3/29

Also, please accept my apology for any confusing posts I do. I have fibromyalgia and it includes a condition called fibro fog that causes confusion, loss of memeory, etc. SOmetimes I lose track of my thought half way through a sentence.

I have seen the Huntington is not there for those dates so have to choose between Intercontinental in USE and Intercontinental Mark Hopkins in Nob Hill (I think!) - I just wish I knew which would be a better experience for them.

Now I am wondering about the hotel at USE that is $104 - it looks like it could be either the Palomar (which I would love) or the Grand Hyatt- which would be ok but not as unique. Is there any way to tell?

There is no additional information provided by HOTWIRE for the 4* USE hotel so unfortunately there is no way to differentiate the Palomer from the Grand Hyatt before the purchase.

The good news is- we have found out for your data base that this no longer has the smoke free amenities that distinguished it from the Palomar and Grand Hyatt.

The bad news is the same thing- because this is not where I really want to put my brother and his fiance. Not only is it similar to every Westin but I only paid $15 less than internet rate. Oh well. You win some you lose some!
