I don't believe this has been reported yet, but this is possibly the Sheraton Suites in Weehawken. I saw a nightly rate of $115 on Expedia, and its the only hotel in the area to have all of the amenities whenso the $75 HOTWIRE rate is possible. I've never stayed here, but its in a great location right on the river overlooking Manhattan and just steps to the water taxi.

This property has not yet been reported to the board, but i too would guess the Sheraton Suites.

However, do note that i don't believe the water taxi next to this hotel runs on weekends, although the hotel (last time i checked) will shuttle you to the other ferry terminal about a mile or so up the road. Regardless of which ferry terminal you take, it's EXPENSIVE vs. alternate options (like ~$7 each way vs. $2.55 or so for the bus). There is convenient bus service from this hotel to Manhattan, but it probably stops at the wee hours of the morning if you intend to stay our late (and it's not nearly as much 'fun' as taking a train/subway). I believe the bus line is the #156 that runs in front of this hotel so you can doublecheck the schedule OR you could also walk 3-4 blocks and take the #126.

There is a Houlihans and Ruth's Chris nearby, but personally i like the Jersey City Waterfront area better than this location.

my bad, NY Waterway does not offer weekend service from Lincoln Harbor. The hotel still offers free shuttle service to the Port Imperial NY Waterway terminal, but the one way fare is $7.75. The bus is another option, as well as the NJ Transit Light Rail service to Hoboken and a transfer to PATH. No doubt, the reported hotels in the Jersey City zone (Hyatt, Candlewood, Westin) are more convenient to the PATH train.

We did decide to use Hotwire and the property is the Sheraton Suites. We booked two suites, one for my husband and I and one for our son and daughter (ages 21 and 19). Since we are traveling with our adult kids, it is important for us to stay at a property with a little more room to spread out than to just have a hotel room. I am sure we will use the ferry at some point but will also use the other transportation options.

Thanks again for the information. I used the HOTWIRE link.
