Tino Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 NOOOOOO!!!!!!After bidding 4* up to $75 and 3.5* up to $65 and failing, I stupidly threw a $50 bid at the 3*.Big, big mistake, because I got the Millenium, by far the worst hotel in St. Louis. While they have some renovated rooms in the North Tower, they stick Priceline customers in the South Tower, which should be condemned and torn down. The $25 room I got the last time at this property was about $20 too much. Filthy, moldy, and actually located BELOW the lobby on a floor overlooking the dumpsters.Unfortunately the Women's Final Four is that weekend, so hotel rates are pretty high (for St Louis). At check-in, I will either request a North Tower room or probably walk and pay through the nose somewhere else.

Tino Posted July 14, 2009 Author Report Posted July 14, 2009 Sorry you're not happy with the results of your purchase.Followup: I tipped the front desk person $20 and successfully begged for an upgrade (it was packed that weekend due to the Women's Final Four).Got a newly renovated high floor room in the North tower with a view of the Arch. Well worth the extra $10/night.
