creditcrunch74 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Hello. Quick question on successful bids for the UK. Are the prices in dollars on the win calendar inclusive of tax? I noticed that the Grosvenor usually accepts $155 per night but does this include all taxes. Many thanks.
WillTravel Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 The price on the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins is the bid price. There are always additional taxes and service fees, but you are informed of these before you actually complete the bid.
creditcrunch74 Posted February 23, 2009 Author Report Posted February 23, 2009 WillTravel thanks for your prompt reply. I am bidding from the UK but using the US site. On average what will the additional taxes and service charges be? Thanks once again.
thereuare Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 If you go to PRICELINE and 'act' as if you're placing a bid, enter the zone and a bid price of $155 as well as guest information (NOTE: you're NOT entering your credit card if info NOR clicking the "buy my hotel rooms" button), on the following page you'll be shown a 'review' screen where you'll see the total charges if youre bid is accepted. What are the dates of your stay? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
