pacificboot Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 So I have decided to go to Vegas next weekend, and want to priceline some hotels. Since I have many days before, I decided to start bidding low. The comparable four stars are around 140 per night, so I started at 60, but I didn't expect to get anything, because 60 is definitely too low, or is it?So to my shock! I got the Planet Hollywood for only $60 per night on that weekend (for 2 nights)! The published rates were at $139, so it was like 64% off.Damn! I should have bid lower. Do you think I should have bidded lower, or is this deal just too amazing!I used the PRICELINE link provided at this website.
thereuare Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 Congratulations on your success! This is a very nice deal for weekend dates and there must not be any decent sized conventions in town. Hotel direct rates start at $109, which is low for a Friday and Saturday nite, but still $60 is better than $109 :)Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
MurtleCake Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 Wow, that is a great deal :) :) I love that hotel. Haven't stayed since it was converted.
TRAVELOFTEN Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 I've bid up to $83 for 4* in South Strip and have had no luck for 2/21
