XT600 Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 Very interesting to me!!!!5 Dollars more in bid than me but same total rate? How is this possible?$50 bid fees $14.14, $55 bid fees $9.87This would be interesting question to priceline? Can you help "thereyouare"?
dahammer Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 This would be interesting question to priceline?Call customer service and let us know what they say :)
thereuare Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 My guess is a change in tax rate (and/or initiation of a hotel tax)As well there is a discrepancy in the post above as the data reflects a one nite stay but the topic title (as it was posted) reflects a 2 nite stay... it's possible the OP divided the numbers out into a nightly rate and therefore is different than the one nite stay XT600 purchased. It's possible as the city needs revenue since their plan of raising taxes on millionaires in the area actually caused a reduction in tax revenue as millnionaires fled the state :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
XT600 Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 sorry, you are right: 2 nights stay has less taxes/night as 1 nights stay - I suppose it isn't only the tax but the priceline "fee" you pay only once if you book more than 1 night
