relaxing41 Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 most likely Trubull marriot because it is the only 3 1/2 star property in the trumbull - milford area for now.2/8 - 2/12 $50 rejected2/7 - 2/13 $55 rejected2/9 - 2/11 $58 one time offer for the dates given to increase offer to $17 and they will accept for these dates; I declined 2/9 - 2/12 60 rejected2/8 - 2/11 $64 rejected closed browser lowered star level to 3 ; added shelton; went back to 2/9 - 2/11 offered $60 - rejected. closed browser to rethink and rebid after 24 hours; i will try again today to see if i can get them to accept something less than A$75 for these dates.Reasoning: i can get two rooms in milford for $46 (92 total) so if i want to go this high i figure i should get two rooms or just try for one night and get this property so i can post my experience and win for all to know it can be done. THe rates for these dates are $229/night for weekend is $139 so we'll see. still a great bargain for $75 though!relaxing41

relaxing41 Posted February 1, 2009 Author Report Posted February 1, 2009 1/30/09 3 1/2 stars trumbull marriott (70 dollars) before 75 dollars!)i bid again yesterday for same dates of 2/9 - 2/11rec'd following reply after first bid of $55Try Again Right NowWe searched hundreds of options to find your hotel room, however we can't accept your offer of $55 per room, per night. Your credit card has not been charged for Request Number --- --- ---. If you are willing to raise your price by $15, you can try the same request again right now.that makes it $70 which is 5 dollars less than before!I declined and offered $61 which was rejected; I will rebid again today and attempt to get this for less. I realize this is time consuming for some but that is why this site is so informative as long as you know they will accept less you know what to start bidding at!I used your PRICELINE link to start my bidding and will do so again!relaxing41
