heymikey Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 I realize that you can enter the number of people in the Hotwire search so if I search for 2 rooms, will Hotwire send the number of people to the selected hotel so they would know that one room is quad occupancy?
thereuare Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 Yes, although the hotel won't likely know if you wanted one room with quad occupancy and the other with double occupancy OR two rooms each with triple occupancy, so that's something you'll need to sort out with the hotel after your purchase. So the simple answer is "yes", the hotel knows the number of occupants booked for, but using the example above, doesn't know how you want the rooms divided among the guests. I suspect it could be an issue if you wanted it one way and the hotel insisted they could only make it available the other way, although i don't know of anyone that has had this issue (and i suspect a phone call to HOTWIRE could help in rectifying the situation)Is this pertaining to your current Hotwire Berlin stay? (if so we'll move this thread there)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Colfax Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 Enter "2 rooms, 6 adults" and you should get two beds in each room.Enter "2 rooms, 5 adults" and you should get one room with two beds, and one room with either one bed or two (at the hotel's discretion).
