fo_747
Can Hotwire or Priceline be used by people who do not live in america and who are not american citizens. We are from Sweden and would like to bid for a room in Miami through priceline or hotwire. Maybe somebody else, who is not from Canada, England or Amrica has won a room through pl or hw.Would really appreciate the help.Sorry about anyy misspelling :) Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Hotwire has no restrictions on residency; Priceline users outside of the US would need to follow the PRICELINE TIPS FOR CANADIANS. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment

fo_747
Hi,I am now trying to bid, but I am only getting : Please check your Day phone number. All phone numbers must begin with your area code and may not begin with the digit "1".My phonenumber does start with my area code and what does the system mean with "digit 1".Thanks again for the help Link to comment
WillTravel
They are looking for an American phone number. For example, a New York City phone number is 212-xxx-xxxx since 212 is a NYC area code and all American phone numbers have 7 digits. You can just "adapt" your phone number to fit the format. It doesn't matter, as Priceline will not telephone you anyway. Link to comment
