We needed to get THIS hotel because it is the only one in the area that allows parking and

shuttle to HPN airport (white plains airport) . Parking at the airport was 25/day so i did the math and realized even if we didn't use the

room it was cheaper since our vacation was for 10 nights. So i booked at 11 30 pm for the same day and got to the hotel at

130 am; just looking for a place to crash until 630 when we were to take the shuttle to the airport.( no problem except we were not given a suite and though breakfast was included it didn't start until 7 am which would be late since our flight left at 730 am. THe restaurant for dinner does not open until 5pm so there is not lunch for this property and the breakfast is continental on this date. though we had none

i looked online and it was $179 a night plus $49 for parking for up to 14 days. I couldnt risk not getting this property and then not having a place to park so after matching amenities for the first time and before i knew about this site i held my breathe and pressed enter and to my relief it was this hotel!! When we

returned the shuttle came to pick us up from the airport and we were happy to see our vehicle in good shape and not robbed or towed . It had snowed but.. that's about it. It was a smart decision i would do again. Thanks to HOTWIRE and the concepts on this site i did save money.

I do want to add that after re-reading the amenities and my receipt of this purchase I remember another reason why i was a bit disappointed.

Hotwire mentioned it would be a suite;which is larger than regular hotel rooms and we got a room with 2 double beds and this was very uncomfortable.

The man working at check in said the computer was down and he had no acess to any information at the time we checked in (around 1 30 am) so he gave me a key to a room and said if there were any problems he would call me.I remember saying to my husband that it was weird because i expected a larger room or we surely I wouldn't try to fit the five of us big people in a room with two beds meant for one person a bed. I thought i misread it online and dismissed it and so didn't complain to the front desk about our room. Now I know i paid for a suite and got a standard room for $109 in armonk which is HIGH. I though the difference was the parking included in the rate and i was wrong about that too. I will bring to hot wire attention and see if they will either reimburse me or upgrade my next stay or some kind of reimbursement.
