5 Stars for Central strip on Hotwire are stuck at $169

Casino

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

Golf Nearby

I find this rate extraordinarily high. I know it's a based on availability, but I thought Vegas was having trouble! I don't want to go the Priceline route because I really don't want Trump. I much prefer Venetian/Palazzo because I have food/beverage credit and slot credit linked to my stays.

Just venting. I know one cannot tell which hotel it is based on the listed amenities. Even if we could, I'm still not happy about the rate. Maybe Red Rock at $72/night won't be so bad.

Thanks for listening. Sorry, I don't really have a point to my venting and frustration. When I do book, I'll use the HOTWIRE / PRICELINE Link.

:)

The last few days it was reported to be Wynn or Venetian!

I got the Wynn with the same amenities you listed above.

I would say you will get the Wynn...! Let us know... :)

UPDATE: just checked your dates and it seems to be the WYNN! $169 (8 amenities are shown)

Not too excited about $169. And as much as I'd like to try the Wynn (love the commercial with him sitting on his hotel), I'd prefer the Palazzo/Venetian that weekend. Reg rate is $269 however.

will you say this after paying a $25 per night resort fee at Red Rock?

Please see green nauseous icon on the subject thread title. And what exactly does this go toward in February? Maintaining the rocks? Thanks for the heads up.

that's a good one!! :)

Resort Amenity Fee of $24.99 per night (plus tax) includes:

Complimentary Wired and Wireless High Speed In-Room Internet

Free and Unlimited Local and 800 calls

Daily Local Newspaper

Fitness Center access

Complimentary Shoe Shine Service

Complimentary Airport Shuttle Service

I have read some wonderful reviews of Red Rock as well as Green Valley Ranch, but the thought of paying a $24.99 "resort amenity fee" makes me retch.....management should either raise rates or charge for services if they are requested. Its disingenuous to charge such a high fee for such a paltry list of services. Anyone staying out here would likely have a car, so what is the value of a shuttle or Red Rock Resort is part of Station Casinos and even some of their "grind joints" charge a $10 resort fee.

Good news! I got the Palazzo to give me a room for $79/night that weekend (no resort fee). Thanks for the dialogue.

Can you clarify if you got this thru PRICELINE, HOTWIRE, or booking direct?

Thanks (and contratulations on your success in finding something you're happy with which meets both your needs and budget).

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

I suppose I could have been clearer. It wasn't through either site. I got them to give me the rate after some begging.

Hi, greg0ire.

I didn't get it well, did that mean that you could win Palazzo at $79 through Hotwire?

I'm sorry about this ridicurous question. I'm not good at English.
