wildcard Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 I'm new to Priceline. I would like to stay in a 3* in USE on Feb 7th (maybe 6th and 7th). Any tips for prices? I'm kind of interested in staying at the Hotel Triton....
wildcard Posted January 8, 2009 Author Report Posted January 8, 2009 I am also looking for 3*s in USE/USW for February 7th. Can anyone tell me the going rates?
thereuare Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! With PRICELINE you can't bid on a specific property... you have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone that you select at the minimum star rating (or higher that you select). If you're trying to target a specific property than HOTWIRE may be a better option than PRICELINE.Assuming you're new to PRICELINE and HOTWIRE, this is a good place to start:I've Never Used Priceline or HotwireLet us know how you'd like to proceed or any questions that you may have and we'll take it from there. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Colfax Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 I'm kind of interested in staying at the Hotel Triton....You can't bid for one particular hotel on Priceline. You could win any hotel rated 3* or higher in the USE zone. Triton hasn't been reported won in a few years. It could still come up but you shouldn't count on getting that hotel. If you'd still like to try PRICELINE post back after you've settled your travel dates and someone can suggest a strategy.
Colfax Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Didn't mean to copy you, thereuare. Your response hadn't posted yet when I was writing mine.
thereuare Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Not a problem... it's important info, so good that the OP sees it twice :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
