Hotwire Hotel: HELP ID 4* in hollywood beach

Want to make sure that the 4* I want to book in Hollywood Beach for $141 is the Westin Diplomat and not the Crown Plaza. How can I tell which is which?

Welcome to the site. There is no 100% guarantee you can get a particular hotel with HOTWIRE - it's cheaper because you take the risk/gamble.

What date/s are you looking at and what are the amenities showing with the listing in question.

The dates are January 3rd to the 4th. Amenities are: Resort, Near Beach, Ftiness center, pool, restaurant business facilities, laundry facilities.

Problem is, I think these two resorts have the same facilities. Thanks for helping out.

Unfortunately (although it actually gets better reviews), it would appear to be the Crowne Plaza (which is what you didn't want, it seems); the detail page on HOTWIRE has a 4/5 tripadvisor rating, which would match the CP and not the Westin...

Thanks. I got confused because the tripadvisor rating said last reviewed in November - yet there were posts into December.

TripAdvisor data doesn't transmit to Hotwire immediately.

For example, if a hotel gets a flurry of good reviews on TripAdvisor that elevate its TripAdvisor rating from 3.5 to 4 there will be a lag period when the hotel still shows as a 3.5 on Hotwire, but 4 on TripAdvisor. I dont really know how long that lag time is but my sense is it can be several weeks.
