Hotwire Hotel: 3* Chicago (NMA-Water Tower-Gold Coast) Claridge

Just got the 3* Boutique hotel in the Gold Coast of Chicago for 8/2-4. It had 5 amenities including a spa, restaurant and business center. Turns out is the Claridge Hotel on N. Dearborn. Got it for $99 - not a great hotel although the lower level rooms are gorgeous. Just checked in - old, not updated, plus you have to pay $10 for wireless in room. Kind of disappointed. Was hoping it was the Allegro or Monaco.

Please provide allthe amenities that Hotwire showed... you can still view these by clicking the MY ACCOUNT link on the top right corner of Hotwire's home page. This will help others avoid the disappointment you say you are feeling.

Im not sure what made you think this property could have been the Monaco or the Allegro. Both of those properties have been identified in our list of CHICAGO HOTELS HOTWIRE (second post)... neither of them have 5 amenity icons nor is either rated 3*.

If you don't see an exact match to a hotel in our list, or even if you do and simply want to re-confirm what you're thinking, feel free to post to the board. Our board is truly global in scope and there is a <good> chance that somebody on the board is local to the area or familiar enough to provide help further.

The amenities are Boutique, restaurant, fitness, business center, and spa.
