amour40 Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 Hello, I'm new to this forum but I have found it very useful. I would like to book the Venetian from Feb 12-16 on Hotwire. For the past couple days I've noticed that the *5 hotel that Hotwire is offering appears to be the Wynn. Currently, it is priced at $96 - $99 per night plus taxes.Does anyone have any ideas as to how and when Hotwire changes what hotel is offered?Or if anyone has a creative suggestions as to how I can book the Venetian for under $100 / night ?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Colfax Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding, amour40.Hotwire only displays one hotel at a time for each quality rating in a zone. Wynn, Venetian, and Trump are all 5* in Center Strip zone, but only one of them will display for any set of dates, and it will be the one with the lowest Hotwire rate.If Wynn is on the menu for $99 now then Venetian or Trump won't show unless they lower their rate below Wynn's. The hotels set the rates, not Hotwire. You can't "force" a hotel to show up if it's not there. One thing you can try is search on 3 adults/0 children instead of 2 adults/0 children. Sometimes that will inspire a different hotel to pop up.Let us know if we can be of further help. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links for your purchases.
