I'm staying in town for the MAGIC fashion convention, so I'm pleased to have this rather subtle 4 star at this price. I'm a Starwood Preferred Guest member, so we'll see if that has any weight at check-in.

Don't forget to budget a extra $50 in resort fees for this hotel.

I am not sure if this is applicable to the Westin, but . . .. I won a Priceline bid for Planet Hollywood a few months ago. When I checked in, I had to sign a form, acknowledging $10/day in "resort fee." I was bothered by this but did not say anything at the time. I figured that I would complain to Priceline later. When I reviewed my bill, I noticed that I had been charged $10/day for the resort fee; however, on each day that the fee had been charged, the fee had also been removed. The result was that I did not pay a resort fee.
