scarlett68 Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 I am looking to book at a very nice hotel (between 3 and 4 stars) in Old San Juan, PR for 1/19-1/20/09. 2 rooms. I don't know on Priceline or Hotwire how to narrow down to Old San Juan. How are people identifying Old San Juan to be able to narrow it down enough to bid on Priceline? Thanks :)
slick_gd Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 Unfortunately there is no way to narrow down to Old San Juan. Some people are lucky and the hotel that they win is in the Old San Juan area, and others get hotels in other areas of San Juan.HOTWIRE may be a better bet if you are looking to narrow down the choices since you are given a list of amenities that can be used to identify which hotel it could be.
tico Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 i suggest you choose Resorts in san juan, you'll probably get the Caribe Hilton. pretty nice place. they may even upgrade you to a villa! taxi ride to old san juan is around US$8

Does anyone know what amenities I would be looking for for Old San Juan hotels? Thanks :)
Colfax Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 Hotwire has a 4* in San Juan zone for $136 that appears to be El Covento, which is in Old San Juan, and has very good reviews. (TripAdvisor 4.5/5)Icons: Boutique, Smokefree Rooms, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Highspeed. If that suits you please use this HOTWIRE link to purchase.
