Colfax Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding, Colorado Eric.Hotwire's initial search results page only has room for eight icons. If you click "Continue" to the next page, then "See all amenities", do you find two more icons---"24 Hour Front Desk" and "Highspeed Internet"---in addition to the 8 icons you posted? I just want to be sure we're talking about the same hotel. This hotel hasn't been identified yet but the TripAdvisor ratings of 4.5 out 5 with 20+ reviews look like a match for the Mona Lisa Suite Hotel. Most Orlando hotels have hundreds of reviews so a hotel with only 20-30 reviews must be a fairly new place, which the Mona Lisa appears to be.If you purchase please use this HOTWIRE link and let us know what you get.p.s. Our Hotwire Hotel List isn't 100% up to date. The Disney Maingate-Champions Gate zone is no more, and now there's Disney Maingate-Celebration zone instead. The list will be updated as soon as possible.
Colorado Eric Posted December 21, 2008 Author Report Posted December 21, 2008 Thanks - I did not know the trick about looking at the other amenities -- furthermore in Firefox, they do not show on my PC unless I resize the box (no scroll bars). It does have two more amenities: 24-hour Front Desk and High Speed Internet Access. If I book it, I'll use the URL. AaronJB Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Good morning. :)Thanks for the follow-up. Let us know how it goes and if you have any questions.
Colorado Eric Posted December 28, 2008 Author Report Posted December 28, 2008 Booked it starting a day earlier - same amenities for $115. It WAS INDEED the Mona Lisa Suites. Thank you for your assistance! I've spent a lot of time in Celebration, so I'm looking forward to trying this new property. Looks to have a simpler pool, etc, but in the winter, even in Florida, pools are not always a great feature - January is often pretty cool.Eric
