Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (Embarcadero) Hyatt Regency

Just tried the following attempts and were rejected for all...I almost tried the last attempt at $86 rather than $76, but since I saw an accepted rate of $76 posted for USW I opted for the lower to no avail.

I was really going for USE as you can gather from my strategy, but if consensus is that USW would be the better deal, in the $70-$80 range rather than over $100, I have no problem trying a re-bid with both USE & USW selected. Hoping to get something under $90.

Any help is appreciated.

You've been rejected to $90 in USE and to $76 in USW.

Presuming both are available would you rather stay at a 4* in USE for $100 or a 4* in USW for $80? The answer will determine what your next bid should be.

Are you excluding the Moscone-SOMA and Embarcadero zones on purpose? Sometimes people who don't bid SF often aren't aware that the former USE and USW zones have been subdivided into four zones and all those zones have 4* hotels.

I'll side with USW for $80...with that said, should I proceed again w/something like the following:

USW @ $80

USW/CC/ @ $83

USW/CC/SSFO @ $86

USW/CC/SSFO/FW @ $89

USW/CC/SSFO/FW/Marina @ $92

You've already used up your four free rebid zones bidding for USE and USW today. Unless you're willing to add another zone (SOMA-Moscone or Embarcadero) you'll need to wait 24 hours from your last rejected bid before trying for 4* in USE or USW again.

You didn't respond whether SOMA and Embarcadero are acceptable or not. The reason I asked is because the Hyatt Regency in Embarcadero zone sometimes comes up in the $70's (although I don't know if it's available on your dates.)

If Embarcadero zone is also acceptable you can start a new bid there now without waiting. I'd suggest starting at $65. If you still only want USE or USW then when your 24-hour lockout period is over, I'd suggest trying $80/4* in USW, as you proposed.

So I should try again now by choosing Embarcadero 4* $65 correct?
