I won't need the care much so I settled for an economy and started my bid at $8 and got it. Maybe I could have got it for less, but who knows. I know I'm happy with the price. I wonder if i can still use my Hertz Gold status for pick up.

Looks like a nice rate. I usually go for the least expensive car class, unless i'm traveling w/ my kids and car seats, at which point i choose the next size up since the lowest class can get a little tight with all four of us, plus car seats, and luggage. As well, or often then not, we're upgraded to a higher car class as the lowest car class is frequently not available.
